摘　　要：葛利高里是肖洛霍夫《静静的顿河》的第一主人公,是一个性格极为复杂的哥萨克.“两次革命”和“两次战争”的残酷现实和刀光剑影、血雨腥风的残杀未能冲去他那刚毅勇敢、真挚坦诚的品格;人都变得“比狼还残忍”“四周都是仇恨”的岁月未能让他失去善良的天性和人的尊严.他是一个闪现着人性美光辉的悲剧人物.其悲剧既是哥萨克的悲剧,也是苏维埃的悲剧.Gregori, the leading character in the novel And Quiet Flows the Don, is an Cossack with very complicated personality. Experiencing two revolutions and two wars as well as the cruel and bloody slaughter, he was still resolute, courageous, honest and sincere. His kind nature and human dignity were never killed by the time when people became crueler than wolves and the world was surrounded by hatred. As a tragic character with the beauty of humanity, Gregori’s tragedy was both that of the Cossack and that of the Soviet.
