摘  要:目的研究多廿醇对高胆固醇血症患者的降胆固醇作用及其机制。方法将68例原发性高胆固醇血症患者随机分成多廿醇组和对照组,服药4周,于第0周和第4周分别测定血脂和血清丙二醛(MDA)、超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)和谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶(GSH-PX)、外周血单个核细胞低密度脂蛋白受体(LDL-R)的含量。结果与给药前比较,多廿醇组的血清总胆固醇(TC)、低密度脂蛋白胆固醇(LDL-C)、MDA的含量明显降低,SOD、GSH-Px、LDL-R的活性明显升高;与对照组给药后比较,多廿醇组的血清TC、LDL-C、MDA的含量明显降低,SOD、LDL-R的活性明显升高。结论多廿醇可明显降低高胆固醇患者的胆固醇,增强机体抗过氧化能力;其降低胆固醇的作用机制可能与增加LDL-R的活性有关。OBJECTIVE To study the effects and mechanism of policosanol on decreasing cholesterol in the patients with hyperchol- esterolemia. METHODS 68 patients with primary hypercholesterolemia were assigned randomly to the policosanol group and control group. The patients in policosanol group were given policosanol while those in control group took a placebo for 4 weeks. Before and after treatment of 4 -week,TC ,TG,LDL- C and HDL- C levels in serum were determined. The activity of superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione peroxidese( GSH - Px) and the concentration of malondialdehyde(MDA) in serum were detected. The expression of LDL - R in human mononuclear cells was tested. RESULTS Compared with the pre - treatment, the levels of TC, LDL - C and MDA of policosanol group patients were decreased, and the activity of SOD, GSH - Px and LDL - R were significantly increased. Compared with the control group after treatment, the levels of TC, LDL - C and MDA of policosanol group were decreased, and the activity of SOD and LDL - R were significantly increased after treatment. CONCLUSION Policosanol has significant effects on decreasing cholesterol and enhancing the function of antioxidation. The mechanism of policosanol on decreasing cholesterol may be associated with up - regulating the activity of LDL - R.
