摘　　要：汉族是一个内部差异巨大,同时又是一个被高度认同的民族共同体。汉族历史的建构可分成自在的汉族史、自为的汉族史和自觉的汉族史三种类型,要从规律论、过程论、结构论和整体论进行汉民族史的学术建构。汉民族史的建构体现了一个学者的担当,即将面世的十卷本《汉民族通史》是中华民族形成和发展史的一个重要的样本。Han ethnic group is an ethnic community with huge internal differences and a high degree of identification. The construction of the Han histo- ry consists of three types： the Han history of self being, of self making and of self awareness. The academic construction of the Han history should be conduc- ted through law theory, process theory, structure theory and holism, which in- volves the responsibility of a scholar. The ten-volumn General History of Han Ethnic Group that will come out soon, can be viewed as an important sample to demonstrate how the Chinese nation came into being and developed.
