乔姆斯基语言学理论的自然科学本质探析

摘　　要：Chomsky的生成语法理论满足"尊尚理性,追求真理,尊重客观,符合现实"的四大科学主张;其研究遵循普遍的科学方法原理,是科学研究中"预设P+证据E+逻辑L"的PEL研究模型在语言研究中的具体实践。奥卡姆剃刀原理1(Occam’s Razor)在Chomsky的语言研究中得到了完美体现。生物学、数学和物理学研究给乔姆斯基的语言研究带来了灵感和启示,导致他运用模型演绎的方法探讨I-语言的生物属性,使生成语言学研究获得了自然科学的本质特征。Chomskyan generative grammar satisfies the four scientific declarations which state ＂respect rationality, pursue the truth, value the objection and conform to reality＂ and complies with the general principles of scientific methodology. It is a concrete practice of the PEL model（＂Presuposition ＋ Evidence ＋ Logic＂） of natural science in the study of natural languages. The principle of Occam＇s Razor is perfectly demonstrated in his language study. The study in Biology, Mathematics and Physics brings inspiration and enlightenment for Chomsky and leads him to probe the biological properties of I-language in terms of the modular deduction,which makes his generative grammar a natural science.
