近代湘中人才群体特征分析

摘　　要：近代湘中群英荟萃,英才辈出,如曾国藩、陈天华、蔡锷、宋希濂、蔡和森等,都在中国近代史上曾风云一时。从特征而言,他们大多从小聪明好学,性格刚毅,有相对较好的家庭基础,接受过一定的教育;有坚毅的血性精神,彼此之间关系十分紧密,或为同乡,或为同窗,或为亲友;在类别上,他们中军政人才较多,工商、教育、文化及科技人才较少。Central Hunan Province was never short of talents and heroes in the modern times. Representatives of them were Zeng Guofan, Chen Tianhua, Cai E, Song Xilian, and Cai Hesen, all well - known and influential in the Chinese history. These extraordinary men shared something in common as most of them were smart, hungry for knowledge, and known for their persever- ance. They all received some education because their families were wealthy enough to afford it. They were either fellow townsmen, or classmates, or relatives, therefore, relationship among them was close. There were more military talents than those in com- merce, education, culture, and science and technology.
