摘　　要：由于朝廷开放海禁,清代的潮汕地区潮人依靠优越的港口条件和经商传统,率先从事海上贸易而且发展迅速,因而在潮汕区域社会中,各行各业的发展都呈现出非常明显的商品经济现象。潮汕地区整体的商品经济空前发展,不仅内外商贸非常活跃,同时带动整个区域的手工业、农业生产都与商品经济形成了紧密的联系,从而使整个地区的经济得到较快发展。Because of the removal of the ban on maritime trade in the Qing Dynasty, Chaoshan people took the lead in maritime trade, which enjoyed a rapid development in the Chaoshan district. There were obvious features of commodity economy in the district's walks of life. The prosperity of commodity economy brought along not only trade but also the handicraft industry and agriculture, and promoted the economy of the whole district.
