摘　　要：科技书刊中外国科学家的信息常涉及国别、学科或专业领域、姓名、生卒年份等。文章分别从历史时期不同而国家名称不同、身份定位学科或领域须与书刊内容呼应、中文译名规范用字、生卒年份信息准确完整等几个角度对上述信息中的不规范或不准确的问题进行了例析,指出编辑在加工稿件过程中须特别关注的问题。The materials of foreign scientists in the sci-tech books often involve nationality, subject or professional area, Chinese name,birth and death year,etc. The name of the same country is sometimes different in different historical periods. For the foreign scientists,the identity should correspond to subject,the Chinese name must be standard,and the birth and death year should be complete. In this paper,the non-standard or inaccurate problems are analyzed from above-mentioned perspectives,and the issues that editors should take seriously are pointed out.
