摘　　要：薮内清发现中国古代天文学的发展存在极限限制因素,难以转型成现代天文学。回顾明清史可以发现西方天文学传入中国后遭遇了本土文化的严重排斥和学习吸收不良。上述二者是导致中国古代天文学逐渐落后于西方的重要原因。同为面对外来文明,较之日本对中西天文学的吸收和取舍之历程,可以发现中国近代学习西方天文学的不顺遂存在着深刻内因。Yabuuchi Kiyoshi describes there are limits to the development of Chinese astronomy and Chinese astronomy cannot be transformed into a modern astronomy. After western astronomy was introduced into China it suffered a severe rejection of local culture. These two reasons led to the decline of Chinese astronomy. Facing foreign cultures, compared with Japan＇s active learning, China had profound internal factors that affected its absorption of western science.
