摘　　要：近代湖南人才辈出,这与湖南近代教育事业的昌盛密不可分。体育作为学校教育的重要环节不仅培养了学生的强健体魄,更磨砺了莘莘学子的坚强意志。文章以历史为脉络,在梳理湖南近代学校体育兴起与发展历史的同时,对湖南近代学校体育兴起与发展的原因进行了分析。The emergence of modern Hunan talented people is closely connected with Hunan＇s education career and prosperity. Physical education as the important part of school education not only cultivate the students＇fitness to sharpen the strong will of students. Based on the context of history,combing the rise and historical development of Hunan＇s school sports the cause of the appearance and development of Hunan＇s school sports are analyzed as well.
