摘　　要：任何一门学科都具有一系列有着内在关联的概念以及在这些概念基础上建立起来的学科体系。本文对新型的交叉学科"商务英语研究"概念作了初步梳理和论述,充分论证了该概念在商务英语研究发展中的重要性。在此基础上,重点探讨了商务英语研究的子学科"微观商务英语研究"和"宏观商务英语研究"及两者的关系,旨在为商务英语研究的学科体系构建起到抛砖引玉的作用。Any discipline involves a series of inter-related concepts that serve as a foundation for the establishment of a framework of discipline. This paper makes a tentative study of the concept of a new interdisciplinary area of study： ＂Business English Studies,（ BES） ＂,expounding on the significance of the concepts in the course of the development of BES. Besides,the paper focuses on the two branches of BES,namely ＂Mic BES＂and＂Mac BES＂,as well as the relationship between the two branches,hoping to contribute to the creation of the BES framework.
