摘 要:东西方绘画虽然都把线作为造型手段,然而在实际运用中,受各自文化传统和绘画实践的影响,存在明显的差异性。即使是生活在大体相同时代的马蒂斯和任伯年两位画家在作品中也向我们呈现出他们风格各异的线条,但这并不妨碍两位艺术家的绘画成就。透过对两位画家作品中线的分析,可以为后人对东西方绘画艺术的相互借鉴吸收提供参考。The use of lines is a modeling method existent in both the East and the West, but obvious differences occur between the two regions in the practical use of lines, as a result of their respective cultural traditions and painting practices. Henri Matisse and Ren Bonian, two painters who lived in the roughly same era, were different in their use of lines, though it could not affect their great achievements. An analysis of the lines used in the paintings of these two painters may provide artists of later generations with reference for absorption of merits from the Eastern and the Western paintings.
