摘　　要：美国高等教育发展历程一直受惠于各种慈善捐赠。二战后以慈善文化和捐赠制度创新为先导,形成了现代美国大学日益发达的捐赠基金管理系统和公益慈善模式,为美国成为当今世界科技和高等教育中心发挥了不可替代的作用。如何借鉴美国高校社会捐赠经验,培育大学生公益慈善意识,建立健全符合我国法律法规和文化传统的公益慈善模式,提升高校筹集社会资源的能力,具有重要现实意义。The development of US higher education has benefited from various donations, which stimulates increasingly developed administration system for endowment funds and charity pattern, and plays unreplaceable role for the development of modern US universities. With the aim to continuously increase working efficiency and benefits, and to strive for more social resources for development of universities so as to improve their quality, it is necessary to enhance domestic universities＇ capability of raising social resources, to establish and to perfect universities＇ charity pattern that suits legal institutions and cultural traditions through learning from the experience of social endowment of US universities.
