摘　　要：在《物种起源》历时百年的汉译过程中,由于所经历的历史文化背景的差异,不同时期的译者对于《物种起源》的解读也不尽相同,也因此产生了误读。《物种起源》这部原本属于生物学经典著作在进入中国语境之后,通过译者所采取的不同翻译策略使得这部著作由生物学著作变成了一篇十分精彩的政论文。文章试图从历时和共时的角度对《物种起源》在中国的翻译进行系统的研究,并对此书的接受情况和影响接受的因素进行探讨,旨在跳出单纯的译本对比的传统。《物种起源》文本翻译的演变,表明翻译决不仅仅只是一种纯语言的行为,更是一种文化行为,折射出不同文化之间的碰撞和交流,蕴含了社会文化心理的变迁。The Chinese translation of The Origin of Species has laste differences in historical and cultural background, translators in different of interpretation, thus producing misinterpretation to its original work Origin of Species was originally seen as a biological classic, but after its and through the adoption of different translation strategies by Chinese d for one century. Due to the periods showed different versions in this process. The book The introduction into Chinese context translators, this book has been transformed to a wonderful political essay. This article, intending to jump out of the traditionally sheer comparison of translated versions, attempts to do a systematic research on the Chinese translation of The Origin of Species from the diachronic and synchronic perspectives, and to discuss the reception of this book as well as factors influencing its reception. The evolving process of the Chinese translation of The Origin of Species indicates that translation is not merely a linguistic act but also a cultural behavior. It reflects the collision and communication between different cultures. Moreover, it contains changes of the social and cultural psychology.
