摘　　要：揭示史学与社会的关系是瞿林东教授的《中国史学史纲》一书值得注意的特色之一。作者通过对中国史学发展历程的考察 ,以事实说明了史学与社会的关系和史学对社会究竟具有怎样的作用等问题 ,强调史学家应该具有关注社会的治史宗旨 ,提出了正确认识和处理史学与社会关系的基本原则。Opening out the relation of historiography with the society is one of distinguishing features worth attention of An Outline of History of Chinese Historiography by Qu Lindong. Through an investigation into course of the development of the Chinese historiography the author explains the following problems, such as the relation of historiography with the society and what effect the historiography does on the society after all,stresses historians should be provided with the aim in researches in history paying attention to the society, puts forward the basic principals of right understanding and dealing with the relation between the historiography and the society. All the understanding of the construction of subject of subject of historiography and researches in historiography in our country is provided with certain directive meaning.
