企业外部知识搜索对渐进式和颠覆式创新的差异化影响

摘　　要：开放环境下,整合外部知识的重要性日益凸显。结合企业异质性理论,利用我国2008—2011年企业层面数据,分析企业外部知识搜索对渐进式和颠覆式创新的差异化影响,结果与经典西方研究结论相悖:(1)企业颠覆式创新主要源自广度的外部知识搜索;(2)我国企业对外部知识吸收能力不足,尚不能显著促进创新绩效的提高。从企业所有权异质性来看,国有企业往往具有规范的管理规程,外部知识搜索更利于促进企业的渐进式创新,而非国有企业拥有更灵活的管理机制,其广泛的外部知识搜索更利于促进企业的颠覆式创新;相比于非高新技术企业,更高水平的创新绩效存在于高新技术企业,其广泛的外部知识搜索利于企业的颠覆式创新,而深入的外部知识搜索利于促进企业的渐进式创新。切实提高我国企业创新水平,需要在加强内部研发的基础上整合外部知识,改善外部知识搜索模式,制定差异化的创新政策,增强外部知识搜索对创新绩效的促进作用。Integrating the external knowledge has suggested its importance in the open environment. Combined with firm heterogeneity theory,analysing the differentiated impact of incremental and radical innovation from external knowledge search by the use of 2008—2011 Corporate-level data,but the results contradict with findings of the western classical study. The results show that: 1. compared with searching deeply,searching widely has a positive relationship with radical innovation performance; 2. the absorption capacity of domestic enterprises is not good enough to improve the innovation performance. From the heterogeneity of enterprise ownership,state-owned companies often have standardized management rules,its in-depth external knowledge search help to promote more incremental innovation of enterprises,but non-state-owned enterprises have a more flexible management mechanism,its extensive external knowledge search is more conducive to the promotion of radical innovation of enterprises; as compared to non-high-tech enterprises,the presence of higher levels of innovation performance exists in the high-tech enterprises,the extensive external knowledge search is conducive to business radical innovation,and in-depth extra knowledge search help to promote incremental innovation of enterprises. In an open environment,effectively improving the level of innovation in Chinese enterprises needs to integrate external knowledge on the basis of strengthening internal research and improving the external knowledge search mode,set differentiated and innovative policies to enhance the role of external knowledge search on promoting innovation performance.
