摘　　要：信息社会是进入20世纪中期以来,以微电子、通信、计算机和软件技术的产业化为标志,人类社会所迎来的一个新型的社会形态。信息一词在信息社会中的应用越来越频繁和普遍,信息已成为当今社会和时代的标志和特征。信息化是当今世界区别于以往社会形态的一个重要标志,也是推动社会各方面协调发展的有机组成部分和重要力量。信息这一概念置于现代通信网络环境,具有具体化、数字化和网络化等特点。信息与数据之间以及信息与情报之间存在依存关系,对信息化的描述基本上可以从技术、资源、经济三个维度进行理解。Information society is a new kind of social form characterized by microelectronics, communications, computer and software technology industrialization since mid-20th century. Frequently used in daily life, the term information has become a sign of today＇s society and main characteristic. Informationization is a major character different from other social forms, which also promote coordination of various social aspects. The concept of information has the characteristics of concrete, digital and networked in the environment of modern communication network. Information is affiliated to data as well as intelligence, thus the description of the information can be understood basically from the technology, resources, and economy.
