当代中国家具发展趋势——新中式家具

摘　　要：新中式家具不是现代的中式家具,现代中式家具的起步己有十多年的历史。起初是商家为在市场中突出产品的个性,增强市场竞争力而有意或免意推出的仿制明清家具的产品,在这样的时代背景下,新中式家具被提出。新中式家具应该是一种概念设计,是在中国传统美学规范之下,运用现代的材质及工艺,演绎传统中国文化的精髓,使家具散发出中国气息,又不失典雅、端庄的品格,同时也具有明显的现代特征,新中式家具应该符合其特定的功能性要求,又可以极大限度地展示出设计师的个人素质与情趣。我认为,这样的家具作品可以称之为新中式家具。新中式家具应包含两方面的基本内容:一是中国传统家具的文化意义在当前时代背景下的演绎;二是对中国当代文化情况充分理解基础上的当代设计。它是在当今时代下,以现代全球化趋势的文化背景作为审美情趣的参照,既区别于传统和当代风格,具有典型中国文化特色,又有广泛适应性的新概念家具设计。New Chinese furniture is not modern Chinese furniture, and modern Chinese furniture has started with a history for more than a decade. At first it is for merchants to highlight the product＇s personality in the market, enhance market competitiveness and avoid intentionally or intend to launch a generic version of the Ming and Qing furniture products, and in this background, the concept of new Chinese furniture was made. The new Chinese furniture should be a conceptual design, under the Chinese traditional aesthetic norms, making use of modern materials and technology to make interpretations of the essence of traditional Chinese culture, so that the furniture exudes Chinese flavor, yet with elegant and dignified character, at the same time it also has a distinctly modern features. The new Chinese furniture should be consistent with its specific functional requirements, but also greatly limits the designer＇s personal qualities and taste. I think that such work can be called new Chinese furniture. New Chinese furniture should include two basic elements： First, the cultural significance of Chinese traditional furniture in the current interpretation of the background; the second is to fully understand the situation of contemporary Chinese culture on the basis of contemporary design. In the modern era, taking the modern trend of globalization and cultural background as aesthetic reference, it is different from both traditional and contemporary style, with typical Chinese cultural characteristics, but also a wide range of adaptability of the new concept of furniture design.
