Relying on the actual project,by using the numerical calculation software FLAC3 Dto build the model of silt foundation of highway, and from changing the CFG piles and the slurry jet piles' length as well as distance between piles, the differences between the two in controlling settlement and rate of Sedimentation are discussed. Conclusions are drawn that:it is much smaller of settlement by handling with CFG piles or slurry jet piles than handling without any treatment;the CFG piles on the control of settlement is better than slurry jet piles, during the same pile length and pile distance, the foundation'settlement treated by the CFG piles is significantly less than the settlement treated by the slurry jet piles, and settlement can be quickly stabilized;under the conditions of the same pile length, with increasing distance between piles, the maximum settlement of the foundation is gradually increasing;under the conditions of the same distance between piles, the maximum settlement of the foundation is gradually increasing with the pile'length decreasing;holding the same pile'length, with increasing distance between piles, the pile-soil stress ratio is also increasing;and holding the same distance between piles, the pile-soil stress ratio is gradually increasing with the pile'length decreasing.
