摘　　要：本文以新世纪大学英语教材中课文为实例,探索发掘其中所蕴含的丰富和有教育意义的人文精神,包括自我价值的提升,社会价值的认同,爱的教育,美的情操和道德规范。新世纪大学英语教程是知识教育与人文教育成功有机结合的一个典范,有助于学生在提高英语能力的同时培养个人的人文素养和道德情操。With the texts extracted from ＂Zooming In： An Integrated English Course＂ as the case, this article illustrates the humanistic values embodied in the course. The course books are excellent examples which focus on both knowledge learning and humanistic implementation, aiming at improving learners＇ English as well as humanities accomplishment.
