摘　　要："五四"前的湖南《大公报》率先标举并践履"反对帝制,拥护共和"的理念,其进步性不言而喻,吊诡的是在1915年至1919年间却刊载了为数不少的歌颂"节妇烈女"的诗歌评论,此举在呼应官方"褒扬贞节烈妇"主流话语的同时,背离了时代风潮,给时人留下观念陈腐的印记。细读此期的相关文本,既可感受到处新旧之变中的湖南知识男性面临的性别主体身份和道德主体身份的双重焦虑,也能体察到他们将"节妇烈女"作为挽救人心世风手段的良苦用心。Before the May 4th movement, Hunan Ta Kung Pao took the lead in practice against the monarchy, in support of republican, the advancement is self-evident. But the paradox was that the number of ＂moral integrity＂ poetry commentary was published between 1915 and 1919, which the echo official save chastity ＂strong woman＂ of the mainstream discourse at the same time, obviously deviated from the trend of the times. Reading the relevant text in detail, we can feel the Hunan intellectual male double anxiety of gender identity and moral main body status in old and new exchange time. We can also understand that their good intention that using ＂moral integrity＂ as a means of saving public feelings and manners.
