摘　　要：详细介绍了基于高性能八通道UART控制器芯片XR16L788的串口扩展通信方法,并完成其在S3C2410上的驱动程序,将其应用在了一种具有定位功能的新型遥控终端上,解决了该设备接口不足的问题,使遥控终端可以一方面利用GPS、电子罗盘、激光测距仪提供的信息实现对目标的被动定位,另一方面利用无线模块发送控制命令接受反馈信息。实际使用表明,该方法设计可靠,在满足原有要求的同时,还预留了接口以方便扩展其它功能。Described in detail based on the high performance eight channel UART controller chip XR16L788 the serial expansion communication method,and complete its on S3C2410 driver and its application in a has the function orientation of new remote terminal,to solve the problem of shortage of the device interface and the remote terminal can on the one hand,using GPS,electronic compass,laser range finders provide information to achieve the target passive location,on the other hand the wireless module to transmit control command receiving feedback information. Practical application shows that,the method to design reliable,in order to meet the requirements of the original at the same time,we have reserved the interface to facilitate the expansion of other functions.
