地方本科院校英语专业应用型人才培养的探索与思考——以嘉应学院为例

摘　　要：英语专业应用型人才培养是英语专业发展的时代要求,培养应用型人才是综合性地方本科院校的首要教学目标。对英语专业应用型人才培养的现状考察发现,目前的英语专业教学存在三对矛盾:"英语"与"专业"的矛盾;"学术"与"应用"的矛盾;"大众教育"与"精英教育"的矛盾。对于英语专业应用型人才的培养亟需采取如下措施:设置灵活多变的课程体系;优化教学方式,提高教学效益;切实加强各种实践训练;建立灵活多样的评价方式;建立具有实践创新能力的教师队伍。The cultivation of application talents of English major is the requirement of the development of English major and the primary goal of integrated local universities. The observation of the current situation shows that,there exist three pairs of contradiction in English major teaching,which include the contraction between English and major,contraction between academics and application,and that between general education and elite education. The following measures should be taken in the cultivation of application talents of English major： building flexible curriculum,optimizing teaching methods,increasing teaching efficiency,strengthening practice training,setting up varied evaluation forms and establishing a team with practice and innovation ability.
