摘　　要：社会信息学作为一个专门术语和专门学科产生并发展,这标志着"技术-社会"视角下的社会信息学研究进入了快速发展期。文章回顾了国内外四十多年来具有代表性的研究成果,对社会信息学的概念界定、研究缘起、早期发展、研究现状展开述评,并对未来社会信息学的发展与研究方向进行展望。Social informatics（SI） refers to the interdisciplinary study of the design, uses and consequences of information and communication technologies（ICTs） that takes into account their interactions with institutional and cultural contexts. In this paper we provide an overview of the definition of the concept of social informatics and discuss the current activities and emerging directions of social informatics.
