摘　　要：连葱12号洋葱是从黄皮洋葱500中的白皮变异株进行单株自交,从其后代中系统选育出的新品种。该品种属中日照、中熟类型,鳞茎扁球形,球形指数0.66,平均单球质量351 g,外皮及内部鳞片均为白色,产量90 000 kg/hm^2,抗病性强,适宜黄淮地区露地栽培。Liancong No.12 is a new onion cultivar bred by systemic breeding from the self-crossed progeny of a white peel variant of yellow onion cultivar 500. Liancong No.12 is middle-maturing and is a kind of intermediate-daylength plant, and its bulbs is in oblate spheroidal shape, with spherical index of 0.66 and average bulb weight of 351 g. Both the peel and internal layer of bulb are white. Its yield is 90 000 kg/hm^2, and it shows good disease resistance, so it is suitable for open field cultivation in Huanghuai area of China.
