民办高校通识教育课程实施的问题与对策研究——以厦门工学院为例

摘　　要：近年来,国内外高校对通识教育的认可度越来越高。通识教育意在提升学生的人文素质和科学素养,培养学生的可持续发展能力方面起到重要作用。本文通过分析民办高校开设通识教育课程的意义,尝试以厦门工学院开展通识教育的实践来探讨我国民办高校在实施过程中的问题和相关的对策建议。In recent years, the recognition of general education at home and abroad is getting higher. General education is intended to improve students＇ humanistic quality and scientific literacy,and to cultivate students＇ ability of sustainable development.Based on an analysis of the significance of offering general education courses in private universities, the paper attempts to explore the problems and the relevant suggestions in practice of private universities in China on a case study of Xiamen Institute of Technology.
