摘 要:习语是人类语言和文化的重要组成部分,但却一直是二语学习者学习的障碍。众所周知,掌握习语理解的方法是二语学习者提高跨文化交际能力的重要手段。因此,对英语习语理解方法和模式的研究对二语学习者掌握这门语言及其文化有一定的现实意义。在非论证性推理的过程中,通过语境的不断建构,把不完整的命题补充完整,可以推断出说话人的真正意图,从而理解习语。Idioms are essential in human language and culture, but they remain a major obstacle for second language learners to improve their learning. As is known to all, mastering the ways of idiom comprehension is an important means for second language learners to improve their ability of cross-cultural communication. Therefore, it is significant to study the ways and models of idiom comprehension, especially for second language learners to master the language and its culture. In the process of non-demonstrative inference, the incomplete proposition can be completed via the constant construction of context, by means of which the real intention of the speaker can be inferred,and then idioms can be understood.
