摘　　要：文章对《中国英语:特征与意义》一书从词汇、句法、语篇以及语用等方面针对中国英语的特征、内涵、地位及其在实际英语教学和文化交流中的作用所做的描述与实证研究进行了全面评介,充分肯定了作者对作为英语变体的中国英语特征的描述和论证以及为中国英语成为世界英语大家族中的成员所做出的"怎么高度评价也不为过的贡献"及其在中外交流中的意义和在语言教学及文化交流中的价值,强调了中国英语作为表达中国事物的必不可少的手段和特征,同时也充分肯定了本书论证过程的科学性、合理性和权威性。This paper reviews the book Chinese English： Features and Implications in terms of vocabulary, syntax,discourse and pragmatics, and it comprehensively comments on the descriptions and the empirical research of the character,the significance and the status of Chinglish in practical English language teaching and its role in cultural exchange. It fully confirms the author＇s descriptions and demonstrations of the character of Chinglish as a transformation of English and the author＇s comment that Chinglish will become a member of the world English family ＂With contribution that cannot be too highly praised＂ and its significance in international exchange, and its value in language teaching and cultural exchanges. It highlights Chinglish as a necessary method and character in expressing things Chinese, and fully recognises the scientific,rational and authoritative approach in the demonstration process of the book.
