摘　　要：生而为人,应该怎样生活,又将如何面对死亡,是古今中外哲学家、思想家一直以来的重要议题。美国当代黑人作家恩尼斯特·盖恩斯的小说《我的灵魂永不下跪》,通过一个黑人男孩儿被无辜判罪剥夺生命的故事,为我们展现了一个无知的灵魂在临刑前接受教育、认知自我,并最终实现人格重塑与精神超越的生命历程。这是一场黑人与白人的巅峰对决,是一次关乎生命尊严的灵魂洗涤。人是什么,何为人生,种族歧视下的人面对生活中的种种苦难与压迫该何去何从,是历史长河遗留给黑人种族的生存考量,也是值得人类这一生命践行者认真思量的问题。Born as a human,one should how to live,and how to face death,is an important subject of the philosophers and thinkers have been at all times and in all countries.Contemporary black American writer Ernest Gaines＇ s novel A Lesson Before Dying,by a black boy was innocent conviction deprives the life story,as we show a stupid soul last-minute accept education,self-cognition,and ultimately,personality remodeling and spiritual transcendence of the life course.This is a black and white peak showdown,is a soul washing of the dignity of life concerns the,and is the novel protagonist to express the philosophy of life.What is man,what is the life,racial discrimination in the face of life＇s miseries and oppression is history left to survive considerations of the Negro race,and is worth the human life practitioner carefully consider the spirit of questioning.
