摘　　要：独立学院英语专业以培养复合应用型人才为目标,即能熟练运用外语在某一专门领域开展实际工作的应用型人才。为实现这一目标,在注重语言技能训练的基础上,英语专业人才培养应增加专业知识的传授、强化实践教学环节;在教学实施过程中,学校应加强与企业的合作,构建以市场为导向、以应用能力为核心的课程体系,力争"产学研"一体化,做到学校、企业、学生三赢,真正为服务社会经济发展培育多层次的英语人才。The objective in English talents cultivation of independent college is to cultivate applied inter- disciplinary talents who can apply English fluently in some specific field. To achieve this goal, the English talent cultivation needs to increase professional knowledge teaching and practical training, based on of the language skill teaching. To supply multi-level English talents to the socioeconomic development, the university should cooperate with local enterprises in designing a market-oriented and application ability- cored teaching plan. Such an integration of ＂production, study and research＂ will benefit not only the university, but also the enterprise and the English majors.
