Agglomeration and differentiation were the basic process and essential question in economic geogra-phy. Regional condition index, city index and the coefficient of variation were used to analyze and compare the ag-glomeration and differentiation of urban core elements in Liaoning Province. Indicators such as population, economy, society and transportation present the agglomeration tendency from Shenyang Economic Zone to Coastal Economic Belt. Telecommunication elements show the characteristics of reverse development. The agglomeration trends are sig-nificant in population, economy and society factors in comprehensive cities. The heavy industry cities present overall differentiation trends. Light industry cities and resources-based cities appear obvious agglomeration in transportation and telecommunication. Population, economy and culture belong to typical distribution of low priority in Liaoning Province. The centrality of Shenyang is not obvious. But in education employment, medical treatment, passenger and goods transport, posts and telecommunications, its monopoly power tends to strengthen. The absolute difference of Li-aoning Province presents the expanding trend. The expanding trend of economy is obvious, but the expanding trend of population is weaker. The urban development speed is wide disparity, and its relative difference is larger.
