林乐知与晚清教会女学振兴——以《万国公报》为视点

摘　　要：中国近代女子学校教育是由晚清来华传教士开其端的。《万国公报》是外国传教士创办的影响最大的综合性报刊,晚清来华传教士林乐知,作为《万国公报》的创办人和主编,指出"中国振兴女学之亟",呼吁对中国女子进行教育。林乐知以《万国公报》为阵地,宣扬中国女子解放并为此实践,为晚清女学的振兴做出了开拓性的贡献。Modern school education of Chinese woman was started by the foreign missionaries to China in the late Qing Dynasty. The Globe is the integrated press founded by the foreign missionaries with the greatest impact. Young John Allen, the missionary coming to China in the late Qing period, as the founder and editor in chief of The Globe, pointed out that ＂China urgently needed revitalization of female school＂, which called for Chinese women＇s education. Allen, taking The Globe as the front, propagated the liberation of the Chinese women and practiced for it, which made pioneering contributions for the revitalization of female school education in the late Qing Dynasty.
