摘　　要：教学方法是实现教学目的所采用的途径和手段。信息产业的高速发展要求教育者不断改进教学方法。工程材料是高等院校机械类或近机类冷加工专业本科生的一门必修专业基础课,其重要性不言而喻。从三方面探讨了工程材料课堂教学方法:课堂内容设计要具有逻辑性、精心设计课程的导言与总结、课堂学习兴趣激发等。力争通过研究教学方法手段来提高教学质量。or： Teaching methods are the way and means to attain the teaching aim. The rapid development of information technology requires teachers to improve methods of teaching constantly. Engineering materials is a major professional course of higher learning mechanical or nearly machine cold-working of students, its importance is self-evident. In this paper, in view of the engineering material teaching method is discussed from three aspects： teaching contents to logical design, design course introduction and summary and interests excitation method, etc. Strive to through the research of teaching methods to improve the teaching quality.
