摘　　要：论文追溯了"神圣恐惧"观念的起源,分析了两希文明中对"神圣恐惧"的表述,修正了博尔赫斯的个别认识,揭示了"神圣恐惧"的本质特征及其积极意义;并从这个角度入手对博尔赫斯的几篇小说做出了别样的解释。This article traces back to the origin of 'holy dread', and analyzes the statements of Greek and Hebrew civilizations on this idea, then revises Borges' particular understanding on 'holy dread', and at last reveals the essential features and positive meaning of it; departing from this point, the paper makes an alternative explanation on Borges' several fictions.
