摘 要:社区在教育代际流动中的作用及其机制是现有研究尚未充分讨论的问题。本文使用中国家庭健康与营养调查数据进行多水平分析,研究结果显示:子代受教育年限的总方差中约有16%可以由社区差异解释;社区的人均收入水平越高,该社区内部的教育代际流动性越强,在人均收入水平高到一定程度的社区,子代与父代受教育年限之间甚至呈负相关,其原因可能是父母学历与家庭收入较高的子女对通过教育发送能力信号及进入主要劳动力市场的依赖性较低。This study analyzes the function of community environment on educational intergenerational mobility.Using Chinese Family Health and Nutrition Survey data and the multilevel analysis model,we find that about 16% of the total variance of children's education years can be explained by community difference;the relationship between parents' and children's years of education is affected by community environment.For example,the higher the community's average income is,the higher the mobility is;and for some communities,children's years of education is even negatively correlated with their fathers'.Children with well-educated and wealthy parents may not depend on education as a signal of their ability to help them enter the primary labor market.
