摘　　要：话语受到权势关系的制约,是人际交往中会话者身份地位的体现。权势关系体现在语言的各个层面,文章从句类和句式角度分析《雾都孤儿》中权势话语的言语特征及其所体现的人际关系,特别是权势关系,以期深刻理解和欣赏该部小说。Power dominates discourse and embodies conversationalist＇ identity and position. Power relation can find expression in different levels of language. This paper identifies the interpersonal relation between the characters, especially the power relation in the novel by analyzing the discourse in Oliver Twist from diverse sentence categories and patterns. This study contributes to the deep understanding and appreciation of the novel.
