摘　　要：《红楼梦》在创作过程中,作者对于"断与续"这一美学创作原则与方法的运用可谓美轮美奂,其情节虽然淡化,却呈现出纵横交织、曲折跌宕的态势与模式特点。"断与续"艺术的运用造就了《红楼梦》纵横交织、悬念叠生、若隐若显、文武张弛的曲折模式,使小说情节更具艺术魅力,形象更加生动,涵义更加深邃。In the process of writing A dream of Red Mansions（《红楼梦 》）, the aesthetic principle and method used by the author,is considered to be beautiful and ornate when it comes to ＂discontinuity and continuance＂, with a trend and feature of simplified plot, but powerful swaying and twisting. The usage of ＂discontinuity and continuance＂ creates the cross-weaving and twisting mode; The application of the art of discontinuity and continuance produces the winding pattern which brings about lots of suspense; The application of the art of discontinuity and continuance causes the twisting mode that seems to be hidden and arising, also brings about a tortuous pattern with civil and military relaxation.
