摘  要:刺激贫乏论是语言天赋论的基础。语言天赋论认为母语语言输入缺乏母语语言发展所必需的关键信息和反面证据,儿童母语语言习得呈现出刺激贫乏。语言非天赋论认为母语语言输入足以支持母语语言的发展,儿童母语语言习得呈现出刺激丰富。通过阐述语言天赋论和语言非天赋论在刺激贫乏论这个问题上所发生的争论,可以揭示语言习得的本质。The poverty of stimulus argument is the basis of the genetic- endowed theory of language. The genetic- endowed theory of language argues that children's first language input is lack of key data and negative evidence necessary for their first language development,and children's first language acquisition is poverty of stimulus. The non- genetic- endowed theory of language states that children's first language input is sufficient enough to support their first language development,and children's first language acquisition is richness of stimulus. This paper explores the controversy of the both sides over the poverty of stimulus argument so as to reveal the nature of language acquisition.
