摘　　要：隐喻能力是英语专业学生要达到本族语者的地道性必备的能力。本文在分析基础英语课堂中词汇教学与隐喻能力培养的相辅相成的关系的基础之上,提出从隐喻的角度分析一词多义、借助概念隐喻理论讲解词语搭配和从隐喻的角度理解词汇的转类法三方面来培养英语专业学生的隐喻能力的策略。Metaphorical competence is one of the essential competences that English majors are supposed to acquire in order to be native-like when speaking English. Based on the analysis of the relationship between the development of metaphorical competence and vocabulary teaching in the course of integrated English, this paper put forward strategies of developing English majors＇ metaphorical competence from three aspects： analyzing polysemy from metaphorical perspective; teaching collocation through introducing theory of conceptual metaphor; understanding conversion from metaphorical perspective.
