摘  要:英美文学是大学英语学习过程中重要的课程学习内容。尽管英美文学教学的实施往往会存在一定的困难,但是却具有一定程度的深远意义。这部分内容涉及的教学内容知识繁多,而且内容广泛,想要整体掌握具有一定的难度,而且要在有限的教学时间内全部掌握所有的知识和内容,确实给学生和老师带来了巨大的挑战和一定的压力。就现如今的英美文学的教学形势来看,教学方法和内容方面都存在严重的问题,而且教学的效果也不好,学生们整体掌握效果不到位,对于其他学科的学习也会有一定的影响。所以要想改变这种情况就要从问题的根源下手,进一步探究英美文学教学内容,将人文思想内容进行渗透,改进现在的教学形式。British and American Literature, an important course in college English learning, is of profound significance, but there are some difficulties in the implementation of British and American Literature teaching. This course involves a wide range of teaching content and knowledge, making students' overall mastery difficult. Besides, students are required to grasp all the knowledge and content in limited teaching periods, which brings great challenges and pressure to both students and teachers. Viewing from the current British and American Literature teaching, there are severe problems in both teaching method and teaching content,not to mention the effect of teaching and students' overall mastery which is less impressive. This will also exert certain influence on the learning of other disciplines. To change the situation, we should start from the root of the problems, further explore the teaching content of British and American Literature, infiltrate humanistic thoughts into the teaching, and improve the present form of teaching.
