摘　　要：罗来兴先生是中国著名地貌学家。他在中国黄土地貌、河流地貌、构造地貌等地貌学研究领域取得了一系列的重要成果。从20世纪40年代至80年代,罗先生先后在中国东南丘陵、黄河流域、横断山脉、黄土高原、天山山地等地的研究中,获取了大量的第一手野外考察资料,对研究区的地貌类型、形成原因、空间规律、演化过程等进行了全面和系统地分析。罗先生发表了多项开创新性的研究成果,对中国地貌学发展做出了重要的贡献。Professor Luo Laixing is a famous geomorphologist in China. He achieved a series of important research results in the loess geomorphology, river geomorphology, and tectonic geomorphology. From the 1940 s to 1980 s, Prof. Luo had access to numerous first-hand data of field survey in the Southeast China Hills, Yellow River Basin, Hengduan Mountains, Loess Plateau, and Tianshan Mountains. He comprehensively and systematically examined the landscape types and analyzed its causes, spatial distribution and evolution as well as published a number of papers based on original research results. He made great contribution to geomorphologic development of China in the early period of New China.
