摘　　要：提升高校的竞争力是当前高等学校发展的一个重要目标。运用钻石模型理论从战略定位、生产要素整合、社会需求定位、相关产业支持、机会把握与政府支持几方面分析南洋理工大学的竞争优势,发现南洋理工大学之所以在短期内取得竞争优势在于其抓住了机遇,明确了大学的战略定位,有机整合了人力资源、学术资源等要素,精准定位了社会需求,处理好了大学与政府、社会及企业的关系。我国高校要借鉴南洋理工大学的经验,要牢牢抓住深化高等教育改革的机遇,积极推进大学制度建设,不断加强学科融合和校企合作,认真做好引智工作,才能提高高校自身的竞争优势。To enhance competitiveness is an important goal of the development of higher education institutions. Based on the diamond model theory,the paper analyzes the competitive advantage of Nanyang Technological University from the aspects of strategy,factor conditions,demand conditions,related and supporting industries etc. The finding is that Nanyang Technological University has possessed competitive advantage in a short period by making full use of the development opportunities,setting clear strategic positioning,combining such elements as human and academic resources,positioning the social need,improving the relationships between the university and the government,between the university and the society,and between the university and the enterprise. The successful experience of Nanyang Technological University is worth our study. To enhance competitive advantage,the higher education institutions in our country should seize the opportunity of deepening higher education reform,promote university system formulation, strengthen academic integration and cooperation with enterprise and improve the talent recruitment.
