摘　　要：近代以来,起源于传统士阶层的且具有西方意义上的知识分子群体的兴起构成了选择马克思主义的主体力量。"士志于道"的传统成为知识分子选择马克思主义的强大精神动力,而他们所致力于的"道"与马克思主义在理想层面的契合更使其倾向于选择马克思主义而不是其他。"实践理性"的思维模式成为知识分子选择马克思主义的思维动力,马克思主义的实践特性更坚定了其选择。Since modern times,the intellectuals who were originated form the traditional scholar class and had a sense of Western constitute the main force of Marx＇ s choice. ＂ Scholar aspiration to Dao＂became the strong spiritual motive to choose Marxism,and the Dao they were committed to had common on the ideal level with Marxism, which make them more inclined to choose Marxism instead of the other.The thinking mode of＂ practical reason＂ was the impetus for Chinese intellectuals to choose Marxism, and they made the choice more firmly because of the practical characteristics of Marxism.
