摘　　要：[目的]分析研究"平凉红牛"母牛经济类型,为培育"平凉红牛"肉牛新类群提供一定的理论依据。[方法]采用肉用指数法(BPI),对381头"平凉红牛"母牛经济类型进行了测定分析。[结果]〗不同年龄母牛平均BPI值分别为:一岁3.64±0.68、二岁3.69±0.56、三岁3.67±0.53、四岁3.51±0.22,均已达到肉役兼用型指标。[结论]"平凉红牛"母牛已达到肉役兼用牛体型标准,并正在向肉用型过渡,为培育"平凉红牛"肉牛新类群奠定了基础。【Objective】The objective of this study was to analyze the economic types at different ages of＂Pingliang red cattle＂cows,as well as to provide a related theoretical basis for fostering new beef cattle population in Pingliang.【Method】The economic types of 381＂Pingliang red cattle＂cows were classified using the BPI index mothed.【Result】The average BPI index of four ages（1,2,3and 4years old）of＂Pingliang red cattle＂cows were 3.64±0.68,3.69±0.56,3.67±0.53 and 3.51±0.22,respectively.【Conclusion】The cows of＂Pingliang red cattle＂had reached the standard of meat dual-purpose cattle,which laid the foundation for the cultivating of new group beef cattle in Pingliang.
