摘 要:"设计史"(Design Hsitory)不同于"设计的历史"(History of Design),作为一种独立的学科分支尚显年轻,关于其历史、属性、特征等主要问题需要进一步明晰。本文将从世界史与全球史的学理语境中出发,初步勾勒设计史的全球发展脉络,以晚晴民国设计史为案例,探究如何写作设计史这一基本问题。本文提出,设计史写作应分别借助物质文化的方法论优势与新文化史的认识论价值,完成由设计史到设计文化史的价值转向。Design History is different from History of Design. As an independent branch of the discipline, it is still young, and all of its history, properties, characteristics and othermajorissues need to be furtherclarified. This article starts from the learning theory contextof world history and global history, initially outlines theglobal development context of Design History, and taking that in Late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China as an example, explores how to write Design History, which is a fundamental question. In this paper, we put forward that Design History should be based on the advantage of the method of material culture and the value of the new cultural history, and finish the value shift from Design History to the cultural history of design.
