摘 要:从学习者的背诵学习策略出发,试图找出高职大学英语教学效果不理想的原因和对策。调查发现,背诵学习策略在高职大学英语教学中受到了极大的忽视:虽然学生认可背诵在英语学习中的积极作用,并且认为大学生有必要进行英语背诵,绝大部分学生平时既不背诵英语单词/词组,也不背诵英语课文/文章;高职大学英语教师对学生背诵学习策略的培养远远不够重视。要想有效提高高职大学英语的教学质量,必须重视学生英语背诵学习策略的培养。Higher vocational college English teaching is far from perfection and we try to find out the cause and solution from the perspective of the learning strategy of recitation. The following two-year survey shows that recitation has been greatly neglected in English teaching and learning in higher vocational colleges. Although students approve the active role that recitation plays in English study and think it necessary to recite English at colleges, the vast majority of them don't recite English words/phrases, or English texts/ articles. The requirement for English recitation from English teachers in higher vocational colleges is far from enough. We have to emphasize the strategy of recitation in English teaching so as to improve the quality of higher vocational college English course.
