摘　　要：采用文献资料法,在搜集大量日文史料的基础上,论证明治日本的学校体育发展迅速且成效显著,与当时为追赶欧美、克服身体劣势而出现的"人种改良"潮流有密切联系。学校体育是在全社会重视身体与健康、重视体育、全民族激情勃发地进行"人种改良"的整体氛围中得以迅速发展的,学校体育也是其改良人种的重要手段之一。启示学校体育的发展需要良好的社会大环境,全体社会成员共同重视形成合力,学校体育才能得到更快的发展。This article demonstrates the physical education developed quickly and effectively through literature material on the basis of collecting a large number of records of Japanese history in the Meiji Japan. It has related closely with Euphenics in the age for catching up Europe and the United States and overcoming the physical weaknesses. The physical education was booming in the situation and the whole society attaches great importance to the body and health as well as the whole nation was burning with passion for Euphenics. It was one of the important means of the Euphenics. This study reveals us that the development of physical education needs a good social environment and all the members of the society must have common attention so that the development of physical education can get faster.
