摘　　要：2014年翻译出版的《风景与西方艺术》(Landscape and Western Art)是一本探索西方文化史上关于"风景"的概念及其不同表达方式的著作。本篇书评将择取介绍书中几个章节,并由此讨论西方不同绘画种类的产生和等级地位及其变化的问题,书评也对此书的研究对象、写作结构和研究方法等方面作简要评述,并在最后指出一些翻译的问题。Landscape and Western Art, translated and published in 2014, is a book that explores the concept and different representations of landscape in the history of Western culture. By introducing several chapters in the book, this review thus discusses the origin, status and its diversification of Western painting genres. This review then gives a brief comment on the research objects, writing structure and research methods of this book. Finally, some mistakes of Chinese translation in this book are also pointed out.
