摘  要:当前,国内学术界有关中国文学走出去的讨论涉及到译者资格的重要问题。有意见认为,英语母语者有语言优势,应由他们担任中国文学对外传播之责。对此,本文分析了中外译者各自的长短,指出中国译者具有在语言理解和文化把握上的双重优势。并且,目前文学英译的大规模实施不仅要求数量庞大的译者加入,还需国家机构的资助和组织,这些是中国译者的独特环境,也是汉学家所不具备的。高校英语教师是丰富的译者资源,应发挥他们的专业能力,要从英译汉转到汉译英方向上来,为文学走出去的事业出力,为国家战略的需要服务。In the on-going discussion of Chinese literature going abroad,there is the kernel issue of the qualification of the translators. One opinion holds that the English-speaking translators are preferable to their Chinese counterparts as they use English better as native speakers. Therefore,they are more qualified for the task of spreading Chinese literature to overseas readers. On this issue,the present thesis analyzes both the advantages and disadvantages of the two groups of translators,pointing out the double advantages possessed by the Chinese translators in their mastery of bilingualism and biculturalism.Moreover,the large-scale project of introducing Chinese literature to the world requires large numbers of translators who can only be found in China's Mainland and they enjoy the state financial support and organization while such working conditions are not available to the native-speaker translators. Talking of the translators in question,the university teachers of English in China provide rich human resources for the project of Chinese literature going abroad. And by making full use of their professional competence( bilingualism and biculturalism),they should shift their focus from E / C translation to C / E translation. In doing so they will be able to contribute more to the Project of Disseminating Chinese Literature,and serve the need of the state cultural strategy.
