摘 要:从入学-教育经历-学业坚持/退出全过程的视角,基于对701名学生的调查数据、26名师生访谈及2个学院的案例研究,本研究发现:长学制学生入学动机多元化,学术经历差异较大,取得博士学位的意愿呈现分化趋势;入学动机、学业进展满意度可以预测学生学业坚持的意愿;退出学生群体在入学动机、学科氛围感知、学术经历及满意度、学业进展满意度等指标得分均低于学业坚持的学生群体;中途退学还受到个性、性别、家庭及社会因素的影响。The study explored the mechanism of Chinese doctoral students drop-out from the long-year program. Using the mix methods, namely, survey, interview and case study, The findings shown that students' motivation of pursuit of PhD was diversity, and the academic experience was differentiated. Their intentional persistence or withdraw from the PhD program was a function of motivation, disciplinary, and campus experiences. Compare to persistence group students, the enrollment motivation, feeling of academic atmosphere, academic experience, satisfaction with academic experience, and satisfaction with progress of ac- ademic were all significant lower among drop-out group students. The enrollment motivation and satisfaction with progress in academic were predictors for intentional drop-out. The study also found effects of personality, gender, and social factors on drop-out of students.
