摘　　要：大学精神是大学功能和作用的体现和外显,反映出大学的本质。从大学起源及其功能与作用入手,能较客观、全面地探寻出大学精神不断丰富的历史轨迹。当今大学建设,要在理论上开展大学精神研究、在实践中培育大学精神,必须清楚地认清大学精神的历史真相。University spirit is the embodiment of university functions and roles, and reflecting the essence of the university. Starting from the origin, proceeding with function and roles of university, we could be more objectively and comprehensively to explore historical route in university spiritual enrichment. About today＇s university construction, in order to carrying out university studies in theory, and cultivating university spirit in practice, we must clearly recognize the historical truth of the university spirit.
